This pilot programme was based on a case study in crisis management that had room for experimentation and some creative thinking about how the crisis in public expenditure might be weathered.
Organised in co-operation with Dancing Leopards Ltd this was a completely different exercise in executive development that was entertaining and collaborative - an opportunity to work through a series of issues and crises based on a real-life example, a European transport body that weathered the 'perfect storm'.
It also provided an opportunity for focussed discussion, engagement and networking. While acknowledging that only a few people may be interested in specific policy issues involving transport, the lessons developed in the seminar on crisis management were essentially generic.
