Professor Sir George Bain published his Independent Review of Policy on Location of Public Sector Jobs on 30th September 2008. Focusing on the sustainable economic and social development in Northern Ireland, Sir George and his Review team made 27 important recommendations.
This joint lunchtime meeting of the Chief Executives’ Forum and its sister body, the Chairpersons’ Forum, was addressed by Sir George and, as such, was an opportunity for public sector CEOs and chairs to learn more about the Review and to discuss with Sir George the thinking behind its objectives, findings and recommendations.
