David Sterling, Head of the NI Civil Service (NICS), and Jill Minne,Strategic HR Director and Joint Diversity and Inclusion Champion, NICS will brief our members on the diversity and inclusion work planned as part of the delivery of the NICS People Strategy and how the NICS will be applying the ‘diversity and inclusion lens’ to everything it does - how it communicates, recruits, promotes, develops and manages people within the NICS.
David will talk about the work he is leading to further develop a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. He will outline why the new NICS People Strategy for 2018-2021 places diversity and inclusion at its centre and how this will help accelerate NICS’s ambition to have a truly inclusive workplace culture - a service that is reflective of the society it serves.
