‘Debating Public Service Issues’…with Andrew MacKinlay MP

Andrew MacKinlay, the Member of Parliament for Thurrock, was the special guest at this Chatham House Rule meeting over dinner.  Discussions were wide ranging and included the economy and other key issues of the day, the role of the UK parliament and the handling of Northern Ireland business at Westminster, the funding and resourcing of devolved and reserved matters, British-Irish parliamentary affairs and the workings of the legislative process.
