The "Exit Interview" Series Featuring Gavin Boyd

September 27 2019

We are delighted that a number of senior public servants who have stepped down from their roles this year have agreed to participate in our new ‘Exit Interview’ series.

At these events, each participant will reflect on their leadership journey in conversation with Nick Garbutt.

Our first participant is Gavin Boyd, who recently stepped down as the first Chief Executive of the Education Authority, following a long career in both the public and private sectors in Northern Ireland.

At each of these events, the participants will explore the inevitable challenges they faced and their strategies for making progress and building coalitions.  The discussions will deal with issues including leading transformation and achieving delivery; dealing with uncertainty and austerity; building staff engagement and embedding collaboration.  The events will look at their personal highs and lows from their time at the top, including, perhaps, unfinished business.

Guests will have the opportunity to engage in discussion with each participant.
