Complexity and uncertainty are perhaps the greatest challenges for any leader attempting to plan for the future in the situation we all now face.
How can we plan when we don’t know what the future looks like?
Stafford Beer pointed out that the best way to deal with complexity is through organisation, while Peter Drucker famously remarked that ‘The best way to predict the future is to create it.’
In this webinar, Michael Dunlop and Lynn McKeown, OR Training Consultants, will explore practical uses for a framework that can help you to do both.
‘Logical Levels’ is a practical framework and approach for leaders which can be used to create an inclusive, effective and aligned vision for their team or organisation; diagnose systemic issues; and plan for the future.
The Logical Levels approach has been used to develop business plans; diagnose issues; create effective solutions and transfer skills and expertise in organisations as diverse as FIAT, IBM, the Metropolitan Police and the NHS.
Participants will:
· Gain practical experience of a Business Planning framework that they can begin to use immediately
· Gain clarity on developing a Purpose for their plan
· Develop next steps and diagnose potential issues
· Discuss and plan for how this framework can be effectively applied both personally and with teams and organisations
