It is vital that leaders work to maintain their own health and wellbeing, and that of their staff during the Covid-19 pandemic and in its aftermath.
Dr Petra Corr, Clinical Director of Psychological Services and Head of Occupational Health Services, Northern HSC Trust & Psychology Adviser to the Chief Medical Officer, has taken the lead on behalf of the HSC to develop a framework to support psychological wellbeing in the workplace during the pandemic. This framework was recently launched by Health Minister Robin Swann MLA and is supported by a significant range of free Staff Health and Well-being Resources .
In this webinar, Dr Corr will present the framework, articulating the types of emotions staff are likely to be experiencing at present, and throughout the phases of the pandemic. She will describe how these emotions are likely to impact on staff personally and on the wider organisation. Dr Corr will consider how leaders can support staff, and vitally, steps leaders can take to safeguard their own emotional wellbeing to cope and thrive during this period.
Dr Corr’s presentation will include signposts to the most appropriate sources of support for organisational leaders, and the session will include time for a question and answer session.
