The Exit Interview Series - featuring Professor Evelyn Collins
In the latest event in our "Exit Interview" series, we are delighted to welcome Professor Evelyn Collins as she reflects on her time with the Equality Commission.
Prof Collins was appointed as Chief Executive of the Equality Commission for Northern IReland in 2000 until her retirement in 2023.
She has worked on equality issues since the 1980s, mostly in Northern Ireland but also as a national expert working on gender equality in the European Commission in Brussels, and more widely through her engagement with Equinet, the European Network of Equality Bodies.
In conversation with broadcaster Karen Patterson, Evelyn will reflect on her experiences at the Equality Commission, some of the key issues she faced during her time in office and explore her personal highs and lows as a public service leader.
This will be an interactive event and guests will have the opportunity to engage with Evelyn during the session.
A light lunch will be available from 12.15pm and the event will run from 12.45 - 1.45pm.
As part of your organisation’s membership of the Chief Executives’ Forum there is no charge to attend this event.
This session may be recorded and any video or photographic material may be used by CEF for future events and promotional purposes. Anyone wishing to opt out please let us know by email to email@example.com
