CEF is delighted to join with the NI NHS Confederation and the HSC Leadership Centre to host this masterclass with Dr Helen Bevan, globally renowned for her expertise in large scale change and her ability to help people translate it into practical action and deliver tangible outcomes.
In this masterclass, Helen will explore some of the latest ideas, tools and approaches from leading practitioners of large-scale change in public services around the world.
She will reflect on the practical implications and opportunities for public administration in a world where the balance between “old power” leadership (positional power and authority) and “new power” (networks, shared purpose, and mobilising for change) is shifting.
She will also cover how to build our individual and collective power to create change and deliver results in this shifting landscape.
Helen will reflect on the model of ‘seven simple rules for leaders’ who are ambitious for transformation during this masterclass.
Following her formal presentation there will be ample time for discussion with a focus on how we in Northern Ireland can individually and collectively embrace some of these ideas and approaches, supporting our current focus on collaboration and innovation.
