Harnessing the Programme for Government Wellbeing Framework to support collaboration and progress
CEF is delighted to join with the NI Public Sector Chairs’ Forum to invite members to a briefing and discussion session on the recently-launched Programme for Government Wellbeing Framework (PfG Wellbeing Framework).
Wellbeing is a combination of social, environmental, economic, and democratic factors which are essential for society to flourish. These factors align to the Missions of People, Planet, Prosperity and the cross-cutting commitment to Peace articulated in the draft Programme for Government (Draft Programme for Government 2024-2027 ‘Our Plan: Doing What Matters Most’ | Northern Ireland Executive).
In this session Michael Kennedy from The Executive Office and Matthew McFarland from NISRA will set out the rationale and how the framework will be used to help inform and report on the PfG, and after two short presentations, there will be ample opportunity to explore the opportunities to use this framework proactively to focus on developing a more systems-based approach, greater collaboration, and innovation to support improved outcomes.
This session will take place in Deloitte’s newly refurbished Belfast HQ at the Ewart Building and is free of charge to CEF and PSCF members.
