SYMPOSIUM: USING BEHAVIOURAL INSIGHTS TO ACHIEVE CLIMATE CHANGE TARGETS – WHAT WORKS?

CEF is delighted to join with DAERA for a half-day symposium on the effective use of behavioural science to achieve climate change targets.

This event will build on our successful event on the issue in February 2024 and will focus on insights and approaches that have been assessed in other jurisdictions, and how these might be applied in Northern Ireland to tackle climate change.

The event will be facilitated by Professor Pete Lunn, Head of the Behavioural Research Unit at the Economic and Social Research Institute in Dublin, and Adjunct Professor of Economics at Trinity College Dublin.

It will include contributions on:

The event will also feature contributions from senior representatives of the DAERA, in relation to NI’s climate change progress and targets. Attendees will have extensive opportunities for Q&A with our guest speakers and discussions with peers from across public services.

Event Schedule & Booking Details

This event will open at 9.00am with registration and networking; the opening address will take place at 9.30am.  The formal event will conclude at 1.00pm, and all the speakers will be available over a networking lunch from 1.00 - 2.00pm.
