Common Ground: Delivering Public Services Across the Island
‘Common Ground’ is a journalism and public engagement project launched by The Irish Times to explore and deepen discussion about the political, social and cultural relationships across the island of Ireland and with the UK. It is designed to create a greater understanding of the complex issues affecting Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain.

1.30 – 3.30pm Presentations and Discussion event, led by Mark Hennessy, Ireland & Britain Editor, The Irish Times.
This event will feature contributions about mutually beneficial cross-border projects, and will include a panel and wider discussion, facilitated by Mark Hennessy. CEF members will be joined at the event by ACESA’s membership; senior leaders from a wide range of public bodies across the Republic of Ireland.
The stunning surroundings of Hillsborough Castle will provide a fitting setting for what promises to be an enlightening afternoon of discussion and building connections.
